Sharon M. Goley is a graduate of the
University of Charleston (BS, 1984) and of
the Washington College of Law at the
American University in Washington, D.C. (JD,
1989). Ms. Goley is a member of the Virginia
and District of Columbia Bars, and
specializes in commercial, real estate and
business general litigation. Ms. Goley represents
clients in the federal and state courts and
before administrative agencies in mediation
and arbitration. In
addition, Ms. Goley specializes in the areas
of commercial and residential landlord and
tenant law and employment law. She is
currently responsible for supervising the
firm’s large and growing commercial and
residential landlord and tenant practice,
and represents clients before local housing
commissions and agencies, as well as in
local courts. Ms. Goley has lectured and
participated on panels and in seminars in
the area of employment law and on Federal
and State fair housing issues. She is a past
Vice President of the Women’s Bar
Association Foundation Board of the District
of Columbia, having earlier served for two
years as its Treasurer, and has been an
active volunteer at Children’s Hospital
for over seven years. Ms. Goley resides in
Fairfax County, Virginia.
