Sharon M. Goley - is a member of the Virginia, District of Columbia and Maryland bars and has been in private practice for over 30 years. Ms. Goley has been a member of the firm, and its predecessor firm of Margolius, Mallios, Davis, Rider and Tomar, for most of her legal career, with a concentration in business civil litigation on behalf of businesses and property owners. Her practice focuses on representation of property owners and management companies of commercial and residential real estate, and business civil litigation. She represents clients in the federal and state courts and before administrative agencies. Ms. Goley currently leads the firm’s large and growing Landlord Representation Group, and represents clients before local housing commissions and agencies, as well as in local courts. Ms. Goley has lectured and participated on panels and in seminars on Federal and State fair housing issues. She is a past Vice President of the Women’s Bar Association Foundation Board of the District of Columbia, and a member of local bar associations. Ms. Goley is a graduate of the University of Charleston (BS, 1984) and of the Washington College of Law at the American University in Washington, D.C. (JD, 1989).
Anna Belgorodsky - Anna Belgorodsky is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law. After completing a clerkship in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland, Anna has spent the past 13 years representing property owners and management companies in litigation, mediation, and administrative proceedings throughout Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. Outside the courtroom, Anna devotes considerable time to the transactional sphere, which includes drafting leases, settlements, and fair housing position statements. When not engaged in the practice of law, Anna enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her husband and children, and playing with the family guinea pig, Pierre.
Alexa Fitzgerald - Alexa Fitzgerald is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She focuses on landlord-tenant disputes, representing property owners and management companies in lease enforcement litigation, fair housing compliance, and dispute resolution forums. A graduate of George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School (JD, 2024) and Drew University (BA, 2021), Alexa brings a unique perspective shaped by her experience as a law clerk at federal agencies, where she tackled issues in civil rights, ethics, and employment law. This background equips her to analyze complex legal challenges and deliver practical solutions for clients. When she’s not advocating, Alexa enjoys discovering new restaurants, officiating soccer matches, and solving puzzles.
Christopher McGaunn - Christopher McGaunn is a graduate of Salisbury University (BS, 2008) and the University of Baltimore School of Law (JD, 2011). An experienced litigator, Chris has focused his practice in the representation of property owners and management companies of residential and commercial real estate since being admitted to the Maryland bar in 2011. Even before being admitted to the bar, Chris was a law clerk for a landlord-tenant firm while in law school. He represents clients in the state and federal courts of Maryland as well as local commissions and agencies. He also regularly assists his clients with portfolio-wide policy and procedure decisions, fair housing compliance, and bankruptcy matters. Chris has conducted training seminars on fair housing, delinquency, and general business practices for property management companies; he has also participated in real estate owner advocate group panels. Outside of the office, Chris enjoys running, playing soccer, coaching swimming and water polo, and spending time with his family.
